I am Mauriel. I run Golden Hour Talent, and I am the person who reads your application.

You are considering handing someone a share of your income. You should know who that someone is. Almost nobody in this industry will tell you, and that is usually the whole problem: it is very hard to hold a company accountable when you cannot name a single person inside it.

So, plainly. I am based in Atlanta and I work with creators worldwide. You will never be asked to travel, and you will never be asked to meet me anywhere. Everything happens over video and over messages.

Why I built it this way

I kept meeting women who were working sixty hour weeks and earning almost nothing, not because they were bad at this, but because nobody had ever told them where the money actually comes from. Then I watched what happened when someone finally offered them help: accounts in somebody else's name, percentages that were never written down, fees and fines invented after the fact, and no way to check any of it because the dashboard was never theirs.

Both of those problems have the same fix, and it is not complicated. Tell her the truth about the numbers, and never put yourself in a position where you could take advantage of her even if you wanted to. That is the whole company.

It is also why the training is free, why the earnings breakdown publishes our own percentage and then tests it against staying independent, and why I will tell you to remain independent if that is what your numbers say. I would rather lose the deal than win one that should not have happened.

What I will never do

• Never hold your money. Every platform pays you directly. I invoice my percentage afterwards, from what has already landed in your account.
• Never put your earning accounts in my name. The platforms that pay you are opened and held in your name, on the first day and on the last.
• Never ask you to escalate. No collabs, no going further than you agreed, no pressure to show more than you want to. That protects your income as well as you.
• Never promise you a number. Nobody honest can, and you should walk away from anyone who does. Including me.

The boundaries, both ways

I do not appear in content, ever. I am not a creator and this is not that kind of arrangement. What I run is marketing and management: the brand, the socials, the systems and the inbox.

Contact me through the business channels on this site and nowhere else. My personal life stays separate from this work, and I will protect yours the same way. If privacy is a live worry for you, read loud brand, quiet life, which is what I would tell you on a call anyway.

Everyone I work with is eighteen or older and verified with government ID on a video call. There is no exception to this and there never will be.
